One of the biggest things many people felt they lost during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic was human interaction and the ability to connect with others face-to-face. While that certainly was the case, we also had the chance to network and connect with people from around the world, people we may have otherwise never met. That is the power of what we started at My Collaborative Team, and what our members and followers have been able to create.

Recently we published a blog, Nothing Different Happens Unless You Do Something Different, written by My Collaborative Team member Randy Heller. Like so many of us, Randy spoke about the isolation she felt during the last fifteen months and the lack of connection with other people and especially her own family. However, through the power of Zoom and the help of amazing Collaborative professionals across the country Randy and many others of you have had the ability to make real and meaningful connections with practitioners across North America.

Last week, after more than a year of chatting together in our weekly happy hour, Randy Heller and Mark Soboslai finally connected in person. Randy recently relocated to New York City to be closer to family and with the help of Zoom and fantastic colleagues like Mark, her transition into a new market was made that much easier. We never know the twists and turns that life may take, but with great people and a decent internet connection, the human connections you desire are just a click away every single Friday afternoon.  So join us on Happy Hour every Friday from 4:30 Eastern until 6 p.m.
