The Elevator Pitch Challenge

The Elevator Pitch Challenge

Last week I wrote about the importance of having a good elevator speech. Your elevator speech should just roll off you tongue with little of no effort. I invited you to share your elevator speech with us.

My Collaborative Team member Aubrey Ducker did just that. Here is his pitch:

I am a Collaborative Attorney, working with families in all manner of crisis. Whether the crisis involves an elder adult passing away, or needing care in a special environment, or a family seeking to change their relationship, or even crisis involving children in school situations, I assist families to protect their assets and provide for their loved ones. I say, Collaborative, because I think people want to make their own decisions, rather than allowing a court to decide for them. And mostly, I find that when people are given good advice and solid information, they are better able to plan for and decide their own future.

Aubrey took it one step further. He posted his pitch to his Facebook account. The response was very interesting. Some people didn’t realize what Aubrey does. Now they know!

I challenge every one of you to write your elevator speech. Share it with us! But most importantly, share it with the world. Post your pitch to all of your social media accounts. What better way to share what you do with the public. What better way to spread the word of the Collaborative Process.
