Still Coming Down from my Forum High!

From the desk of My Collaborative Team President, Edward S. Sachs, ACP

Having just returned from the IACP Forum in Toronto I, like most who attended, am coming down from the excitement and invigoration of spending time with my fellow Collaborative professionals. We spent time catching up, learning from the best and brightest, and recharging our Collaborative minds.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Brian Goldman an emergency room doctor inspired us with his presentation on the importance of teamwork It is amazing how the use of teamwork in other walks of life such as medicine is just as important as it is in the Collaborative world.

Teamwork is crucial in achieving common goals, as it brings together the diverse skills, perspectives, and resources of a group of individuals to work collaboratively toward a shared objective. It fosters cooperation, enhances problem-solving, and often leads to more innovative and effective solutions. Teamwork also promotes mutual support, which can boost motivation and morale among team members. In many contexts, such as business, sports, and community projects, successful teamwork is a cornerstone of achieving common goals.

I invite all our MCT friends who attended to share what you learned in a blog. We would love to let the world in on all that we took away from Toronto. Also join us on Friday at Happy Hour as we hear from attendees about this great weekend of learning and sharing.
