Make The Paradigm Shift At CollabFest Midwest

Working in collaborative law is about much more than just learning a new skill set or process. The practice of collaborative divorce is grounded in integrity, dignity, authenticity, transparency and trust. This impacts not only how we work with our clients as creative problem solvers but how we work across different disciplines as members of a professional team.

CollabFest Midwest will give professionals an inside look at what it takes to work in this new paradigm.

  • We will help participants tell the story of collaborative both from a marketing perspective and with a new client exploring options in that first meeting.
  • We will go inside a full team meeting to see what advocacy looks like under this new paradigm of creative problem solving and how the roles of the neutrals help provide the balance and resources essential in this work. We’ll also look at how to work through differences amount the team members.
  • We will look at new innovations designed to help collaborative practice reach a broader array of clients regardless of their economic situation.
  • We will look at the critical role that practice groups play in fostering and growing our collaborative community and helping practitioners grow their skills beyond the initial training.

As collaborative professionals we have the opportunity to change the trajectory of families going through divorce by teaching them a new way to work together that honors the dignity of all involved. By setting them on a new course we not only help them in the divorce process but moving forward as a family as well. We hope that you will join us to learn more about this transformative practice on May 14th.
