I’ve made it to San Diego and couldn’t be more excited. The IACP Forum is in town and the thought of spending time with MY COLLABORATIVE COMMUNITY has me giddy.

Tonight, I was part of a panel speaking to one of my home Practice Groups in Broward County, Florida. We talked about marketing and making Collaborative cases. We discussed the importance of becoming more competent and confident in our Collaborative skin. Networking with peers and learning from Collaborative professionals from all over the world was high on the list of all presenters. Growing the Collaborative community was also high on everyone’s priorities.

I can’t think of a better place to achieve those goals than to attend an IACP Forum. To be able to share knowledge, enthusiasm, comradery, and fellowship with the founders, the leaders, and the committed Collaborative professionals in attendance will be the high point of my professional year.

Usually, I return from IACP Forums having reassessed not only how I practice Collaboratively but also how I market and commit myself to the Process. We are always learning and adapting.

I am already excited about the future. As we enter a much-needed new year in a couple of months I look forward to helping implement a new initiative with My Collaborative Team. We will be premiering the MCT Collaborative Learning Institute. This program will be a nine-month learning opportunity for prospective Collaborative professionals, for professionals looking to enter the Collaborative world, and for professionals who have just completed or have committed to taking a Basic Introductory Training. Our focus is to encourage the growth of Collaborative practice and to encourage our members to help us grow the number of trained Collaborative professionals and to educate those who might be excellent referral sources on the benefits of this great Process.
