Is There Power in Neutrality?

Is There Power in Neutrality?

Too often, Collaborative attorneys downplay the importance of the neutrals in building a Collaborative team.  Too often, Collaborative neutrals don’t understand the real importance of their role in the Process.

Neutrality can be powerful in fostering objectivity and avoiding bias, allowing for a more balanced perspective in various situations.  In the context of Collaborative Divorce, a neutral facilitator or coach and the neutral financial professional aim to facilitate communication, promote understanding, and help couples in their efforts to reach agreements.

It is vital that Collaborative neutrals understand their role and Collaborative attorneys gain confidence in the importance of the neutrals in successful Collaborative teamwork.

That is why for My Collaborative Team, 2024 will be the Year of the Neutrals.  Our advanced training as well as our general discussions and publications will be focused on the work of the Collaborative Facilitator or Coach and the Collaborative Financial Neutral.

If you have a desire to help us with our training or publishing efforts towards this goal, please let me know at ed@mycollaborativeteam.com.
