How Do We Get More Neutrals Involved?

What do you do when you have a lack of neutral professionals in your area? Whether it is a lack of neutral financial professionals or overworked mental health professionals who do not have any time to take on Collaborative work, we continue to hear from Collaborative Professionals from around North America about a lack of available neutrals to form a full Collaborative team. So what is the solution for this issue that many feel is making the utilization of the Collaborative Process more difficult in their community?

One thing that worked for a smaller community in Florida was that utilization of Zoom to bring in a neutral financial professional from a different part of the state. When word spread in this community that an “outsider” had been brought into the matter and “taking away” work from others in that community, several financial neutrals in the area immediately got Collaboratively trained. The actual realization that the community had a need that was not being filled helped spark the fire that was needed to help expand the Collaborative Process.

This is just one tactic that can help inspire more neutrals in your community to jump into the Collaborative world, but it is not the only tactic. What has worked for you in your community in getting more professionals Collaboratively trained and committed to practicing Collaboratively?
