An Invitation From The IACP Executive Director

An Invitation From The IACP Executive Director

Who is ready for a chance to develop your Collaborative skills with world-class trainers, make some amazing memories, meet like-minded professionals from around the globe, and dance the night away?  On behalf of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP), I want to invite all of you to “Lighting the Way Together,” the 22nd Annual IACP Networking and Educational Forum on October 28-31, 2021, in San Diego, California, USA.

Those of you who have been to Forum will need no more convincing.  You know why you want to be there!  For those who haven’t been, I want to encourage you to take the leap and join us.  The Forum is an amazing, unique event, unlike any professional conference you have attended:  a combination of learning and play that will invigorate your practice, a chance to see more of your Collaborative colleagues in one place than you have ever seen before while meeting some of the founders and leaders in the field, and an opportunity to exchange ideas with innovators from around the world.  Newcomers are welcomed with open arms at Forum, and you will find people who are eager to problem-solve, share ideas, teach, and learn together.

Here’s what some past attendees have said about the Forum:

“Being a skilled Collaborative professional isn't about learning 'rules'. It's about expanding and maybe even altering your own perspective. What do you do in this circumstance? How do others see it? The Forum immerses you in new points of view, deeper awareness, shifts in understanding, and ‘aha’ moments.” – Amy Stewart and carl Michael rossi

“Who wouldn’t love to spend time learning, discussing, studying and partying with caring, compassionate people who share your values and dreams?”  - Diane Diel

“Washington 2010.  I finally made it to my first Forum, and saw the vastness, wonder and generosity of the worldwide collaborative community.  It knocked my socks off… What a wonderful time.” – Zanita Zacks-Gabriel

It is important to make this incredible experience as accessible as possible, so we have scholarships available, and the application deadline is coming up on July 24.  For those who are not able to attend in-person, we are also putting on a virtual program, “Beacon when We’re Apart.”  As we learned last year, distance is no barrier to this community when it comes to learning or to celebrating!

Whether in-person or online, I hope to see you there.  You can learn more about Forum, and register, at https://www.collaborativepractice.com/iacp-forum.

In community,

Anne Tamar-Mattis
