JOIN US FOR A SPECIAL HAPPY HOUR TOMORROW, THURSDAY MARCH 19TH AT 4:30 P.M. EASTERN where we will discuss Commitment to the Process.
Most of us can say that we are committed to the Process. That didn’t happen overnight. Think about the hours of study and learning both through education and through “just doing it” to get your full commitment.
So why do we expect our clients to become committed to the Process after just an hour or two?
I asked AI for a definition:
“Commitment in a process” means a deliberate, sustained dedication to follow through on a set of steps or actions over time in order to achieve a goal.
Sustained dedication over time! It is imperative that we keep our clients committed throughout the Process and don’t take their commitment for granted.
We can keep them committed with consistency, showing up and doing the required steps regularly, not just when it’s convenient. With persistence, continuing even when the Process is slow, difficult, or results aren’t immediate. Make sure they have trust in the Process, believing that the steps, if followed properly, will lead to the desired outcome. And make sure your client knows you will keep them accountable for taking responsibility for sticking to the Process and adjusting when necessary
In simple terms: it’s not just wanting the outcome, it’s making sure the client is willing to stick with the method that you know will get them there.
How do you know if your client is committed? How do you keep your client committed? Join us for HAPPY HOUR tomorrow and share your stories.
