On last Friday’s Happy Hour I asked whether AI had made its way into the Collaborative Practice world.  Obviously, many use AI to assist in their marketing and blog production. We heard from practitioners who utilize AI for notetaking. Then we heard a Collaborative horror story!

One of our favorite Happy Hour attendees told us that her Collaborative team was utilizing AI to take notes at their team meetings. Unbeknownst to the professional team, AI began taking notes during the pre-brief. When the notes from the team meeting were produced and distributed, the notes from the pre-brief were included lower in the chain.

Of course, one of the professionals made comments in the pre-brief that were not appreciated by one of the clients. The anger was palpable. 

The case was salvaged, at least for now, but we should all learn a very important lesson. When utilizing AI be very careful. Make sure you review everything before sharing the information. Also make sure the information is ACCURATE.
