Commitment To Our Clients Needs Through The Process

Commitment To Our Clients Needs Through The Process

I just returned from the Florida Academy of Collaborative Professionals Annual Conference, which is always an inspiring event for me as a Collaborative Professional. The energy, the camaraderie, plus the learning and idea sharing that takes place really invigorates my Collaborative spirit.

As we have talked about on many of our Happy Hours and Collaborative Introductory Learning Program sessions, one of the absolute best things you can do as a professional to create more Collaborative matters is COMMITMENT. The keynote speaker, MCT member Ron Ousky spoke about the commitment it takes to be a successful Collaborative Professional.  Ron spoke of the need to be involved at all levels promoting the Process and deepening our learning.  At the same time, he encouraged us not to get stuck in the Process.  We must mold the Process to the needs of our clients.

In October, I along with My Collaborative Team, will be heading back to Florida for the IACP Annual Forum. The Forum brings together some of the most committed Collaborative Professionals from across the world. If you have never attended an IACP Forum, I strongly encourage you to join me and my fellow My Collaborative Team colleagues October 27-30 in Orlando, FL for this fantastic event!
