One of the best parts about the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals Annual Forum is the inspiration and enthusiasm it provides to those professionals who attend. In continuing with that spirit and excitement we want to continue to share the thoughts from our members who attended this year’s forum in San Diego.

From Robert J. Merlin:

                I am so glad that I had the opportunity to attend the IACP Forum in person this year. There is nothing like being with people in person. I think that COVID taught us to have a greater appreciation for that in-person experience. I really appreciate MCT promoting the Forum. I finally got to personally meet some of the people who I met virtually through the MCT Friday Happy Hours. I also appreciate My Collaborative Team sponsorship of the Forum. Building relationships in the Collaborative world, which is what MCT does, is beneficial to Collaborative professionals, practice groups, IACP and individuals who are transitioning in their family relationships. I hope you will all join us in Orlando on October 27-30, 2022 for the next IACP Forum, which promises to be a great experience for everyone.

                Every Forum I have attended (including last year's virtual) leaves me feeling enthusiastic, motivated, educated, and committed to Collaborative practice. This year's Forum had the added bonus of being the first time many of us have gathered together in more than a year. I hugged people! I danced!  And even sang (though I have no delusions of giving up my day job). The highlights of the Forum for me were the Thursday night dine around, where I ate dinner and got to meet and know people whom I hadn't had a chance to truly interact with in the past and the Light Up the Night party. Dancing, getting jiggy, and being silly with fellow Collaborative practitioners was a true bonding experience. It's so much better in person!

The IACP Annual Forum is a place to build relationships, grow professionally, and make some new friends along the way.
