I’m not on vacation, my office is just mobile!
While I travel around this beautiful country of ours, I reflect on how our world has really changed. Some for the worse, some for the better. I have been blessed and it has mostly been for the better. My wife and I are living out our dream while both of us continue working. Alecia teaches math to college students. She teaches a basic study requirement, her university has kept those classes on-line.
I still happily work resolving Collaborative matters. Over the past 17 months the Collaborative world has moved online, and some believe that Zoom meetings are as effective, and sometimes more effective than live meetings. For the professionals, not having drive time and delays waiting for others to arrive to live meetings has allowed us to network and learn more, and for some people like me, the chance to mix business and pleasure.
As a Collaborative financial neutral (Accredited in Florida) I can work anywhere. I have several cases that cross the state of Florida and through the many wonderful connections I have made through My Collaborative Team, I hope to do cases in other states. I have been contacted for a case in California and hope it and others are soon to come. Working with professionals from different communities has been incredibly rewarding and allows me to learn even more how others do this great Process.
Another satisfying result of Zoom Collaborative matters is the ability to bring on scribes more easily to our cases. I have had two cases in which MCT member David Smith, another Collaborative financial neutral, has participated as the scribe. In another matter we brought on newly trained MCT member Becca Wuamatt. I am thrilled to be able to share my many years of experience and help colleagues like David and Becca become better Collaborative professionals.
Are the financial neutrals in your community not as experienced at Collaborative as you would like? Let me help provide them experience by having them serve as a scribe and shadow me in my work on your Collaborative team.
