Richard E. Tejera was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1980 and United States District Court for the Southern, Central and Northern Districts of Florida in 1981. Mr. Tejera graduated from the University of Florida in 1976, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with High Honors. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Boston College School of Law in 1980.
Mr. Tejera is AV Preeminent 5.0 Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and a Certified Family Law Mediator. He has been a member of the Miami-Dade County Bar Association Family Law Committee, the Florida Bar Family Law Committee, the Family Section of the Florida Bar and the First Family Law Inn of Court.
Mr. Tejera is currently a member of The Collaborative Family Law Institute (CFLI) and the International Association of Family Practitioners. Mr. Tejera is a former member of the Board of Directors of CFLI. He presented the CFLI’s course on Collaborative Law during the years 2009 through 2014.
