Helen Stein’s vision is the elimination of the destructive process options currently offered for divorce. Ms. Stein believes that as a trained divorce professional, she has a responsibility to reject the broken system that is so very hurtful, in favor of a better way, a method that is supportive at each step, achieving the goals in divorce, but instead with the outcome of health, peace and grace for all.

Ms. Stein, an attorney since 1985, is licensed to practice law in Florida and New York. She is a Florida State Certified Mediator in the areas of Family, Dependency, and Circuit Civil Law, a Collaborative Family Law Professional and has a certification in communication coaching. She served for many years in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Guardian Ad Litem Program and as Director of Lawyers for Children America. Ms. Stein has been published and/or has been an invited presenter and teacher for various organizations that provide and support children’s and education services.

In 1997, then married with two young children and having been surprised by the prospect of facing a divorce of her own, Ms. Stein’s professional and personal worlds “aligned” starting her on the essential journey of developing the Divorce Without War® Signature System. Helen Stein, now remarried, is a happy grandma and proud mother of four children.
