I am divorced myself and therefore have personal experience with the mental and emotional aspects of divorce, as well as raising children as a single parent.
I am Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Marital and Family Law.I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, graduating from the Academy of the Holy Names, the University of South Florida and Cumberland School of Law. I am a solo practictioner and operate my own law firm, practicing in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law and Probate. I am also a Family Law Mediator. I have previously worked as a supervisor for the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office, and as a Staff Attorney for the Second District Court of Appeals.
I belong to various legal and social organizations, including Ye Royal Krewe of Grace O’Malley, Tampa’s first all-women’s krewe. I am a member of Hyde Park United Methodist Church, and serve in various roles, including Elementary Coordinator, Children’s Ministries Leadership Team, Connection Leadership Team, and hospitality.
I also volunteer at St. John’s Episcopal Parish Day School as the Primary Greeters Chair, Eagle Outlet Chair, and in various other roles.
I am a rescue dog foster parent for Florida All Retriever Rescue, helping to save dogs and finding them forever homes.
