Enid Miller Ponn is the director of the Center for Collaborative Divorce and Mediation and has been a practicing family law attorney in Florida for over 30 years. She has also been a Florida certified family law mediator since 1992. Since the year 2000, Enid has limited her practice exclusively to non-adversarial dispute resolution techniques and processes, in particular, collaborative family law and family law mediation.

Enid is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of UNC/Chapel Hill. She received her master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in 1979, and her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, Cum Laude in 1984.

She is a founding member and served on the board of directors of the Collaborative Family Law Professionals of South Florida for a decade; she is a member of the Collaborative Family Law Institute, the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar; the Mediation and Collaborative Law Committee of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar where she served as co-chair of the committee to facilitate the creation of certification for collaborative professionals in the State of Florida, she served as a board member of the Florida Academy of Collaborative Professionals for four years, has served on various of its’ committees, and is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

Enid is an experienced trainer and has lectured extensively to national, state, and local audiences on the topics of collaborative family law and mediation. Among her many trainings, she served as assistant trainer to Forrest (Woody) Mosten in the 2-day workshop entitled Developing a Satisfying and Profitable Collaborative Practice. She also served as Mr. Mosten’s intern trainer in his week-long, 40-hour Mediation course in Los Angeles.

Enid has published several articles and essays on collaborative divorce and mediation and most recently authored a chapter in the book Building a Successful Collaborative Family Law Practice published in 2018 by the family Law Section of the American Bar Association.
